What's the actual difference in price between EOR and Managed Teams?

For the same role, EOR might be £100-300/month cheaper because you're paying actual salary + £200, whereas Managed Teams is fixed price. BUT Managed Teams includes professional management worth £500-1,000/month if you had to buy it separately.

 

Example: Junior admin on EOR might cost you ~£790/month. The same role in Managed Teams is £960/month. That £170 difference buys you a layer of quality control, a Customer Success Manager, TimeDoctor monitoring, and takes all management burden off you.

Can I start with EOR and switch to Managed Teams later?

Absolutely! Many customers start with 1-2 people on EOR to test the waters, then add more people via Managed Teams when they're ready to scale. We make the transition seamless.

Why is there a 3-person minimum for Managed Teams?

Our Custoemr Success Managers are only really effective in teams of 3+. Below 3, the management overhead doesn't make economic sense for either of us. For 1-2 people, EOR gives you the cost savings without paying for management you don't need yet.

With EOR, do I really have to manage them every single day?

Yes. They're working for you, on your tasks, to your standards. You need to assign work, answer questions, review output, and give feedback. It's like managing any remote employee. If that feels overwhelming, Managed Teams is better.

With Managed Teams, can I still talk directly to my team?

Of course! You can have as much or as little contact as you want. Some customers do daily standups with their team, others just review completed work and never speak to them. Your Customer Success Manager handles the day-to-day management regardless.

What if I find someone amazing who wants ₹35,000/month - can I hire them via EOR?

Yes! That's the beauty of EOR. You'd pay ~£350 (salary) + ~£50 (benefits) + £200 + VAT = ~£640/month total. Way cheaper than our fixed Managed Teams pricing. You just have to manage them yourself.

What if I want Managed Teams for 2 people, not 3?

We can't offer full Managed Teams management for 2 people (minimum is 3). However, if you're willing to pay for a 3-person team, we could assign a very part-time third person or keep the third "seat" empty until you're ready. Talk to us.

Can I mix EOR and Managed Teams?

Yes! Example: You could have 3 people on Managed Teams (customer service team), and separately, you have 1 specialist developer on EOR that you manage yourself. Different service models for different needs.

Which model gives me more control over salary?

EOR. You can negotiate exactly what the person is paid. With Managed Teams, we handle recruitment and pay above market rates to attract quality talent at our fixed price points. You don't negotiate individual salaries.

What happens if someone on EOR isn't working out?

You handle it (it's your employee relationship). You can give feedback, set improvement plans, or end the relationship with 30 days notice

What happens if someone on Managed Teams isn't working out?

Your Customer Success Manager handles it completely. They'll coach the person, set improvement plans, and if necessary, recruit a replacement. You just tell us the person isn't meeting standards, and we fix it.

Is Managed Teams always better value than EOR?

Not always. For 1-2 people, where you're comfortable managing, EOR is clearly a better value (lower cost, you wanted control anyway). For 3+ people or if you hate management, Managed Teams is much better value (small premium, huge time saving).
